Welcome to the Grupo Ferrar website! The Grupo Ferrar works on the field of natural stones used on construction and decoration for more than 20 years. The Group is composed by 3 companies, each one of them specialized on its own area of work. These areas are Portuguese limestone blocks extraction, transformation into slabs and commercialization, as well as manufacturing into finished product used on construction and decoration.
THE GROUP
The Grupo Ferrar started its activities in the field of Portuguese limestones more than 20 years ago. It all started with the creation of the company Mármores Ferrar, whose activity was based on the extraction of blocks of Moca Creme. Today the Grupo Ferrar is composed by 3 companies that give a considerable dimension to the Group. The Group´s activities are today extended to the extraction of blocks, its transformation into slabs and commercialization, to the transformation and commercialization of finished product for projects. The company where it all started, Mármores Ferrar is specialized on the extraction of Portuguese limestone blocks. It has today 3 active quarries of limestones with a considerable market and future potential: Moca Creme, Azul Valverde and Brecha.
Company specialized on the transformation and commercialization of blocks and slabs. It is here that the blocks originated from Mármores Ferrar and our partner quarries are transformed into slabs. And it is at Azumobrel where we commercialize the blocks and slabs for both the national and international markets.
Company specialized on the transformation and commercialization of finished products in natural stone. Rocha D´Aire produces a vast range of products that go from tiles, fireplaces, funerary art, basins, shower trays, diverse furniture, among many other products.
